Both Dave and I noted the pointless planter box next to the penis-shaped bowl.

Either way, looks cool. But as always, i will believe it when i see it.

It's a crazy world we live in, I got a text last night from Brummie's girly (Twig) who had just met the Director of Maverick skate park design and passed on some details.

And now I find out there behind the haverfordwest park.

Spoooky.

Onto the park, uhh.. looks ok, not mind blowing, could of done with some more stair/rail sets. And not sure it's the best use of space, but hey, I don't design parks for a living so what do I know?

Every park needs a penis shaped bowl.

I think its pretty mind blowing for west wales really, the more 'real' parks the better.

Apparently going into build sometime next year.

I'm imagining a skate plaza, always prefer those style layouts.

Fair point on the plaza angle, but they still make parks very 'one way' bottle necking skaters and creating traffic black spots so to speak.

Got given a Director's business card last night, would of been more use if I still lived down there, but hey ho. If anyone has any questions regarding the park, i'm sure it wont hurt to ask.

This went in for planning permission at the start of the summer, just got word that we've definately got it. The end is in sight, just the small matter of raising the funds now Hyped.

It's officially go Got funding from the BIG lottery fund for £427,312 on top of all the other money we've raised. http://news.biglotteryfund.org.uk/pr_141011_wal_pp_vulnerable_people_in_wales?regioncode=-uk

Looking to start building early next year with a view to it being open in time for summer. I'm so incredibly hyped right now and have been since I found out a little while ago
