It didn't take long, honest...
OK, so it was sometime in 2003 we first mentioned updating eryc, but wasn't it worth the wait? Didn't think so, but didn't it keep you all excited for near 2 years?
Let us explain, work on the new eryc did start, sort of, the brainstorming began and never really finished. Then we had to come up with a new logo, now this did take a long time, about 8 months in all, from the first idea to the finished product, were spent designing a new logo. Yes, we spent more time skating, getting drunk, sleeping, and sitting around doing nothing than we did working on it, but it was slowly happening.
Then it all went wrong, with the logo decided, I went off to uni, and work stopped, Uni life being the excuse, and a great one!
Anywho, it's done now, the new eryc is online, and things are looking good again. With some new sections, some new sponsors, and another great competition to kick things off.
Competition -
Obviously we have to tell you about this first, click on over to the competition page and win yourself a free grind rail.
Longboarding -
With the rise of longboarder's on the forum, we couldn't just ignore the longer piece of wood anylonger, even I can admit to owning a longboard now. Right this second, it's a bit empty, but more will come in time, we have some bits lined up already, so don't worry too much. In the mean time, you can check out the SEEBS and Mr Holden.
Gear -
Look, a whole new section! With edsRails helping us out now, we need to help them out aswell, so we have listed most of their products on eryc, and you can comment or/and review them if you want. It's the least we could do.
Stuff -
Well, if you've been here before, you may notice we have binned some sections, the rest 'not so important' parts of eryc have been thrown into something we have brilliantly called Stuff. You can find some Goodies in here, wallpapers at the moment, but more to come if and when Dave can be bothered. Also a little help section for those either interested in learning, or a quick place to throw the new peeps to learn.
That's about it really, expect another update in 2007.
