This is a local skate flick created by Sylem,
a very important eryc member, and it's out for you all to buy
now on DVD.
If you have never seen a "low budget" / "local"
skate video before, you should. They are excellent for a number
of reaons, firstly, you can see what other, non-pro skateboarders
are up to. Secondly, you get ideas for moves, by either copying
something they do, or slightly changing it (this isn't a bad
thing people !), and thirdly, it's cheap.
It took around a year to make, and is roughly 25 minutes long.
Being the great guy that sylem is, eryc recieved a copy in the
post for us all to watch, and hopefully we will post up some
reviews/comments in the forum in time. We recommend this flick
for all the reasons listed above, plus you get to see Charlie
Munro (top right picture), a little kid who we are guessing
is around 11/12 (please correct us if we are wrong), basically
he puts us all to shame on a deck. It's worth buying just to
see his section, the kid will be a pro in no-time. There are
a huge range of style's in the vid too, technical, vert, old
school, and of course what makes a great watch, the bails.
