Big Spin
For this trick you have to ride Fakie.
1) Put your feet as you would to pop-shove-it. Now going Fakie this is what you have to do.
3) Spin your board really quick because it's got to do a 360 and you have to jump up and do a 180 the same way the board is spinning.
This trick isn't all that hard but it sure looks cool when you can spin the 360 and the 180. Keep at it for a month and you should be able to land them.
Spin really, really, really, FAST!!!! That is about it. Ride Fakie and spin big and hopefully land Big!
Big Spin Flip
For this trick your big spins have to be down really, really good. You have to be able to do a 360 flip.
1) Go fakie at a comfortable speed.
2) Your set up should be like your Big Spin but put your front foot on your Kickflip position. If you go faster the trick spins faster.
3) Pop down the tail and try to start spinning the 360 a little bit before you pop so you do a 45 then pop.
4) While the board starts spinning quickly flick your foot so the board starts to spin a Kickflip. Try not to get your feet all messed up with the board.
5) While the board has finished the 180 you should have done a 90. Then when the board is totally finished the 360 flip you should be done your 180.
This trick looks really cool and can be easy if you practice it a lot. Try to get high above your board, then it buys you time for the spinning. |

Thanks for the enlightenment Marc...I thought a big spin/flip was when you spin the opposite way to the board, but im sure you are correct. Whats spinning the opposite way called then?
Also, I would like to raise the point of whether it has to be done fakie? Surely you can just do it regular and land fakie instead... |

When you go the opposite way, i think thats a body varial, or a sex change.
Nothing to say yuo cant do it regular, its just easier to do it in fakie thas all.. |

Good tip for the most part.
The board does a 360 shuvit for people who weren't clear on that.
I agree it can be done from normal stance.
What helps me is a good 90 piovit as hard as you can. |
